The title of this book "Barefoot on Vitamin-D" tells a story. Barefoot stands for vitamin-D as being a unique and valuable
bio nutrient for health as well as, in his opinion, the best vitamin supplement available. Vitamin-D is a "powerhouse of health"
giving nutrient supplementation that combines to support all body chemistry.
This book on vitamin-D is the culmination of three decades of research. There are several communities throughout the world that enjoy
health and longevity to a greater degree than humankind. The common denominator in this phenomenon is not their sedentary lifestyle and
the fact that they eat fish, fruits and vegetables. Many cultures live nearby and do the same but do not have the same health benefits,
